Photographs on every list, arriving gently
August 4, 2026
Added
- You can now see what a plant looks like without opening it. The photographs from the plant pages now appear on the lists too: every native Indigene knows, and every region's roster. Where nobody has chosen a photograph yet, the drawing stays.
Changed
- Pictures arrive gently instead of appearing in pieces. Every photograph is now fetched quietly and shown only once it is whole, fading in over whatever was there. Nothing on the page shifts when one lands.
- Photographs are asked for at the size they're actually shown. A picture drawn the size of a stamp used to be downloaded at the size of a postcard. A plant page now costs about a third of what it did.
- A long list only loads the pictures you can see. Scrolling the plants page no longer sets 190 photographs downloading at once. On a slow connection, or with data saving on, the lists keep their drawings and fetch nothing.
